Turnabout is Western Canada's leader in luxury resale. We’re seeking customer-focused fashionistas to join our team.
Turnabout Luxury Resale is looking for a Photographer to join our E-commerce Team. You will be responsible for photographing a variety of items, including designer clothing, bags, fine jewelry, and luxury watches. The role requires capturing high-quality, detailed images as quickly as possible, while accurately highlighting each product's condition in accordance with Turnabout Luxury Resale photography guidelines.
This is a full-time role based out of our South Granville Studio. The schedule is Monday-Friday 9:45-6:15 PST. This role reports directly to the CTO/CMO.

What You Will Do
- Ensure product is handled to the highest quality standards
- Dress a mannequin quickly and efficiently, according to Turnabout Luxury Resale photography guidelines
- Select the best shots and reshoot if necessary
- Achieve hourly and daily quota requirements
- Assist with the movement of physical product
- Maintain an organized and tidy workspace
- Perform all necessary post-production retouching to ensure the highest quality standards are met
- Upload the photos to the NAS (Network Attached Storage)
- Ensure that deadlines are met
- Other duties as assigned
Please Note: This position requires working with strobe lights and multiple screens (camera, laptop, monitors). This environment may not be suitable for individuals with photosensitivity. Additional information is available upon request.
You need to be:
- Efficient and time-sensitive
- Self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and driven to achieve results
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, with references attesting to responsibility
- Have a strong eye for fashion and photography
- Adaptability and openness to change
Qualifications:
- Proficient in photography and Adobe photography software
- Proven ability to excel in a high-volume, repetitive, quota-driven environment
- 6+ months of experience working in a production environment
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds (dressing and lifting mannequins, moving product, etc.)
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours at a time
- Ability to read and write in English
- Able to work 40 hours per week

The Resale Buyer plays an integral role in shaping Turnabout’s inventory strategy, ensuring product selection aligns with market trends and customer demand. This role requires a keen eye for fashion, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to balance brand identity with business goals.The Resale Buyer procures top sellers by building trust and long lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, authenticate and price resale items based on market trends and customer preferences.
- Build strong relationships with sellers and ensure a seamless customer service.
- Oversee inventory processing, ensuring accuracy in product selection and pricing.
- Collaborate with store managers to align inventory with customer demand and sales objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and apply insights to improve buying decisions and accurate pricing.
- Assist in markdown strategies and inventory optimization.
- Drive business growth through proactive sourcing and creative customer engagement.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of fashion brands, particularly in luxury and designer resale.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform buying decisions.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong sense of style and brand identity.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Prior experience in buying, merchandising, management or a related field is a plus.
- Mandarin not required but an asset
