WE CARE ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY

Turnabout is about community. Each shop is filled with items brought from people living in the community, staff live local and shoppers become familiar friends.

We encourage and support many organizations by offering a higher commission rate on their fundraising consignment accounts.

We donate items and we participate in events, fashion shows and fundraising drives.

Turnabout supports great causes such as:

Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland

We Champion Potential

As an organization that seeks to build self-esteem, they believe that every person has limitless potential and individual strengths. they seek to maximize these traits in each person who is a part of Big Sisters: the Little Sisters who haven’t yet seen what they are capable of; the mentors who are realizing their capability as role models; the supporters and community partners whose collaboration and backing is needed to help us build sustainable programs; and the volunteers and staff whose skills and knowledge help guide and grow this organization.

SUSTAINABILITY

Unlike the traditional linear economy of make, use and dispose, the circular economy is restorative and regenerative by design.

We support our community by selling their items for great returns, we sort out items that can be donated to our fundraising shop Turnabout Community, and we donate unsaleable to thrift shops and shelters.

With the help of our shoppers and consignors, we are contributing to a more sustainable fashion industry where luxury & quality stays in circulation.

We advocate for buying and reselling quality label clothing and accessories which retain their value and believe that this is an important component of a more sustainable lifestyle.
